In the advanced information society of the 21st century, the use of advanced information processing capacities and network technologies will enable the development of new sets of technologies that will deliver higher quality of life. The Division of Advanced Information Systems is proceeding with research on the advancement of these next-generation information technologies. This new knowledge, integrated with the technological strengths that have been nurtured through the traditional manufacturing ethic of Aichi Prefecture, will provide the driving power to build the society of the future.
